End Times was created to bring the UOR credo to current map expansions. Sieged Lands was created to try and find that old feeling of early UOR shards.
Too long many of us had played small shards that catered to only one play style, the PvPer. We at End Times Sieged Lands believe shards need all their players in their many forms and playstyles to truly be successful. And that no playstyle should outweigh the other. That if the players wanted that type of gameplay that is what they would look for. We also sought to bring an end to any one playstyle having to grind out hours of in game time just to start enjoying the game while other playstyles could be ready to play after one night of macroing. All playstyles should have as much ease to create viable characters as any other.
We also feel that too many shards have commercialized the UO experience to the point they sell the game out to the highest bidder. Where you compete not against other players but against other players ability to spend money.
End Times Sieged Lands was created by a small very connected group of players ran by one lead admin to ensure corruption and favoritism would not have a place here. Too many shards rewarding staff status by favoritism or donation instead of actual ability.
In other words we created End Times Sieged Lands so we wouldn't be them. So other players who were fed up with shards like the ones described above could have a place to play the game. Ultima Online.
For those not familiar with AOS ML shards there are many new features. For those already familiar there are many new twist. We have a truly hand designed dungeon for those players who are well on their way already. I would not advise it for new players. See the screen shots thread for pictures.

A ML AOS Hybrid
The guards in Felucca will not come if called. And all the other lands follow a normal Felucca ruleset of attack who you want to where you can if you dare. Reds can freely travel all lands. Where possible we have tried to remove the Trammel and safety associated with ML AOS shards while still giving the players so many more options of playstyles. Item insurance was removed. But items and clothing can still be blessed.
We have a working CTF system as well as updated Monsters of the Month. We are steadily expanding and growing. Our forums are an excellent source of information and a great way to get to know the community.
Skills are capped at 700 but can be raised higher with powerscrolls.
Stats are capped at 225 but can also be raised higher with stat scrolls.
This forces players to make choices of which characters should do what and how the skills they choose combine to counter other playstyles.
Bringing you what you loved back then in an unending battle to perfect the timeframe.
